I will add a word of wedding caution here… An all too common challenge that I experience as a wedding photographer, is when the bride ends up being late for her pre-ceremony photo session. On this otherwise perfect wedding day, our bride was made over an hour late, due to the makeup and hair taking longer than expected. Of course, as a professional photographer I have become very good at playing “catch-up” after brides are made late by makeup and hair preparation, but there are things brides-to-be can do to help keep their preparations on-time. The most effective way to prevent late hair and makeup completion, is to clearly communicate to your stylists about your timeline and the importance of being on-time for your photo-session.
